About Our School Programs

The Naturalist school programs are all about helping kids slow down, look closely, and connect with the natural world. We bring drawing materials, coloring pages, and species-focused lessons into classrooms to inspire curiosity and care for the animals around us.

The animals featured in our products come to life in the classroom through art and storytelling. Students learn how to notice the birds, bugs, frogs, and fish in their own neighborhoods. These visits encourage creativity, awareness, and a lifelong connection to nature.

We are just getting started and hope to grow this program with schools that care about art, science, and getting outside.

Bring The Naturalist to Your School

We would love to visit your school. The Naturalist brings everything needed for a hands-on art and nature session, including drawing supplies, species illustrations, and stories about the animals that inspire our products. We are currently running school programs only in the Bay Area.

Students will draw, color, and learn as they explore what it means to observe and care for the world around them. These visits are simple, creative, and easy to set up.

If you are a teacher, parent, or school staff member interested in a visit, reach out. We are happy to share more and work with you to bring The Naturalist to your students.

Bring learning to life with our printable animal coloring sheets

Discover & Color the Wonders of Nature

Each coloring sheet features a scientifically accurate illustration of a marine or coastal species, paired with fun facts to spark curiosity and deepen understanding. Designed for classrooms, homeschool projects, or a quiet afternoon at the kitchen table, these pages encourage kids (and adults) to notice the wildlife around them and connect more deeply with the natural world.
